Recent weeks have seen some wonderful product visualizations realized with Blender from cars to Jewelry. It could be a matter of time until we see some exceptional renders, featuring original designs and technical excellence.

 

There has been some excellent test renders as well. To improve your chance of nomination, though, please make sure that your renders have something interesting or some story to tell rather than a barren environment leading the viewers to wonder, ‘What on earth did this artist make this for?’ For that matter, this week’s nominee clear had a story to tell in his beautiful render.

 

So, how can you qualify for the Render of the Week Award? Please remember that this award is reserved only for those that are on par with or that excel top notch works published by artists and studios. If such work doesn't seem to appear or exist during a specified week, this award will not be given to anyone. So please submit your best work to www.blenderartist.org or to the Member's Gallery of this site, or Contact Us to show where your work is available on the internet. It doesn't have to be a Blender render, internal or Cycles. A Vray render or any other render is fine as long as Blender was used as a part of your workflow.

About Me:

I am Anuraag (first name). A 29-year-old advertising professional from India working at the Delhi office of DRAFTFCB. I, however, do not work in the creative department but in account management! This allows me to focus on my work as a CG artist in my own free time without any commercial considerations. My other interests include music and video games followed by almost everything in this world.

 

About "Pripyat, 1987:"

Pripyat, Ukraine. 1987. It's been a year since the incident but the air is still rotten enough to kill. The town sign lies in wait to greet people the way it used to. No one is coming back.
